In order to help manage attendance, Disney World is implementing a theme park reservation system upon reopening — which means that there’s a BRAND NEW element that guests will need to plan for their vacation!
These theme park reservations will be available through September 26, 2021,and all guests will need a reservation in order to enter. So whether you have a planned trip in 2020 or 2021 you must have a valid theme park ticket along with a reservation to enter any theme park. As with all new processes, there is likely to be a bit of a learning curve — and since I know how important Disney World vacation planning is,I'm here to help!
Beginning June 22, 2020, Disney Resort and other select hotel Guests with valid theme park admission can make reservations.
Beginning June 26, 2020, Annual Passholders without a Resort stay can make reservations.
Beginning June 28, 2020, existing ticket holders can make reservations.
THINGS TO KNOW BEFORE YOU MAKE THEME PARK RESERVATIONS
Before making your theme park reservations, please make sure you have linked your reservation or theme park ticket to your My Disney Experience Account. All tickets must be linked to an individual's name.
If you are traveling with other families, please make sure to link them to your friends and family prior to making park reservations. This will ensure all of you will enter on the same day to the same park.
And don't forget to plan ahead. Discuss with everyone on what you would like to do on vacation and in each theme park. Park Hopping has been put on hold for 2020 and 2021. So you will only be allowed into one park per day.
