As we begin the phased reopening of Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure park on April 30, and continue experiencing the magic at Walt Disney World Resort.
Download the Disneyland App or My Disney Experience App for Walt Disney World Resort
The official official apps are filled with convenient features! You can link your tickets, resort, view menus, mobile order food and beverages from select locations, make dining reservations, view attraction wait times, park maps, hours of operation, request to join a virtual queue and more.
Tip! Download the latest version of the app prior to your visit to familiarize yourself with all its terrific tools! Remember to have your location services enabled and turn on notifications for important updates and information during your stay.
Plan Ahead with Mobile Order
Disney's mobile ordering service is the main way to order food and beverages at many dining locations throughout the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort. More locations are being added and existing locations are expanding mobile order lanes and pick-up windows. When in the parks, food and beverages can only be consumed in designated dining areas, following the state’s guidelines.
Tip! Place your order early in the day to make sure your meal is prepared at their preferred dining time. When you arrive at the restaurant, you can tap “I’m here,” in the app and head to the pick-up area. The number of available times at each food and beverage location is limited, but there are many dining choices throughout the parks!
Join the Virtual Queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance
Calling all members of the Resistance! Upon reopening the theme parks, Disney will continue using a virtual queue system for one of the most popular experiences at Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort, Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The attraction’s virtual queue is only accessible via the mobile app, and you can only experience the attraction by joining the virtual queue. Beginning April 30, our distribution times for Disneyland's virtual queue enrollment will be at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. daily.** Valid ticket and theme park reservation for Disneyland Park required. Over at Walt Disney World Resort virtual queue ride times will remain 7 a.m. and 1 p.m. ** Valid ticket and theme park reservation for Disney's Hollywood Studios Park required.
Tip! If You can check for an available boarding group starting at 7 a.m. on the day of your park reservation right from your phone from wherever you are, prior to arriving at entering a theme park at Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort! To access the virtual you must have entered the park prior to joining the virtual queue.
View Menus with QR Codes
You can scan QR codes at select quick service and table service dining locations throughout the Disneyland Resort and Walt Disney World Resort to view digital menus, reducing contact and adding convenience to your dining experience.
Tip! You can just open your smartphone camera to scan the QR code. It’s that easy!
Join a Mobile Dine Walk-Up List
If you don’t have a dining reservation, you can now have the opportunity to add your party to the mobile walk-up list at select table-service restaurants on the app.
Mobile Check-In for Dining Reservations
You can also can maximize your time—and minimize your contact with others— with this new service by checking in for dining reservations at select table-service restaurants via the app.
Use Online Check-In Service for Hotel Stays
To help shorten your wait upon arrival and to aid in physical distancing, Disney recommends using the online check-in service before arriving at the hotel. You can opt-in to receive a text message to let them know when your room is ready on arrival day, and your keys are available for pick-up at the Front Desk or at Walt Disney World use your MagicBands or unlock my door feature in the app.
Tip! You can check-in online up to five days in advance at Disneyland or 30 days at Walt Disney World Resort prior to your arrival!
Play Disney Parks App
Exploring the parks with the Play Disney Parks app offers unique experiences and family-friendly activities. For example, there are enhanced adventures using the Star Wars: Datapad at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, where players can scan encrypted cargo, translate galactic languages and hack into droids. The Play Disney Parks App offers interactive activities for individuals and groups, themed trivia challenges and the opportunity to earn achievements.***

Distribution times are subject to change or cancellation. Joining the virtual queue does not guarantee the ability to experience Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.
