Disney this past month opened up bookings for trips through ALL of 2022!
Vacation packages (which include a Disney World resort hotel and tickets), tickets-only, or room-only bookings are available. (NOTE: Resort hotel stays can be booked no more than 499 days from current date.) Some resorts still do not have an opening date. Resorts that are currently open are eligible for a new booking.
Tickets only can be purchased through the end of 2022 at this time. Disney has also released more Theme Park Passes, which are required to enter a theme park. The Theme Park Passes are eligible to be booked into early 2023. At this time we are not seeing an increase in ticket prices for 2022. Now this doesn't mean we won't in the future and remember if you book a package or purchase tickets now, you will not incur additional costs later if prices do increase. Ticket prices are still based on a date base ticket price. Price will be higher around high peek times of the year. Park Hopper tickets are still available for 2022.
Guests can currently book a vacation package until January 14, 2023. But remember, this can be for the first day of your vacation, which means you can technically book a trip into mid-January 2023.
As it stands now, The Disney Dining Plans will still remain unavailable for 2021 and 2022. But, as we have experienced in 2020, anything can change at any moment. If Disney does change their mind and brings back the The Disney Dining Plan, you will be able to add to your existing vacation.
Magical Express will no longer be available come January 2022. Ride share services, private transportations or shuttle vans can be arranged for transportation to/from Orlando International Airport and your Disney Resort.
Magic Bands will also no longer be complimentary. You are still able to use previously used Magic Bands from previous trips, or purchase new ones online at shopdisney.com or in the parks or gift shops. I still recommend having these for your Walt Disney World trip as it makes it so much easier and less to carry on vacation in the theme parks.
Bonus Discounts with a Walt Disney World Vacation. Walt Disney World Vacation packages book receive additional vacations throughout the resort and theme parks. Many of these discounts go overlooked by guests, but can be very beneficial to your next vacation. Looks like 2022 vacations will still be offering these discounts to their guests.
Miniature Golf - Disney World has two miniature golf courses — Disney’s Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course and Disney’s Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course.
