Walt Disney World canceled reservations through June 13th, and thus far are not accepting new reservations until July 1st.
Thursday, Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings announced in an interview with CNBC that Disney World plans to submit their plan for reopening to the Orange County Task Force. “Disney has given an indication that next week they will submit their plans, and once they do, then we will schedule that for a full briefing before our Economic Recovery Task Force as well. So at this point, it's an undefined time or date, but we do look forward to seeing that sometime next week."
Once this is submitted to the Orange County Task Force, they will need to approve the proposal. After this is completed, Mayor Demings must sign off on Disney’s proposed plans before they will be presented to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his approval.
